Let the Music Speak: JAM” is a motion piece inspired by Jazz Appreciation Month—also known by its fitting acronym, JAM. My concept stemmed from research I conducted on Reddit, where I discovered that many people feel alienated by the typical jazz recommendations given to newcomers. This insight led me to shift the focus from technical explanations of jazz to a more emotional, listener-first approach.
The piece encourages audiences to experience jazz without preconceptions, letting the music speak for itself.
